The African Excellence Forum has its roots in the unique value proposition of the Ubuntu Excellence Model (UEF). It was founded in 2018 from a synergy between its two founders, Matome Edmund Modipa and Ed Van Dev Heever. Both have strong track records in performance excellence, but the consolidation of their respective methodologies produced a global-first in culturally-integrated excellence. Wielding the inherent power of humanity in the Ubuntu Excellence Framework attracted the attention of Leon Toissant, the former CEO of EFQM who is considered a founding father of the AEF. Doctors Lucas Moloi and Simeon Materechera joined thereafter, and we encourage you to be next in the continuation of our history.
